We're Building Methven's New Home
& You're All Welcome.
For over five decades, Methven House has been proud to provide more than just care. They have offered belonging, dignity and peace of mind. We're carrying that legacy of care to our new home at Methven Central offering a care home, retirement living and community support. Opening soon.
Who is the Methven Care Trust
Established in 2015, Methven Care Trust is here to continue a legacy of care for our elders in Methven. For over 50 years, Methven House has provided dignity and support to older residents, carrying forward the legacy that began after the closure of the Methven Cottage Hospital in 1968.
Methven Care Trust's mission is to create a modern, purpose-built facility, Methven Central is a retirement village and the new home for Methven House residents.
The Trust is committed to preserving the strong sense of community and compassionate care Methven House is known for, while ensuring these services remain available for generations to come.
Caring for our community’s elders, today and for generations to come.
Our Next Chapter in Care
